Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as staying signed in) and to understand how the site is being used. Similar technologies include browser localStorage and pixel tags. This policy refers to all of them collectively as “cookies.”

We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep the site functional and to measure how it performs. The categories are:

• Essential (session & authentication) — set by Clerk when you sign in to the client portal. These cookies keep you signed in as you move between pages; without them the portal cannot work. They expire when your session ends or shortly after.
• Functional (marketing attribution) — the “apw_attribution” first-party cookie remembers the campaign or referring source that first and most recently brought you to the site. It is used to credit conversions and lives for up to 180 days. A localStorage mirror carries the same information as a fallback.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies (such as _ga, _ga_<id>) that collect aggregate usage information: pages visited, referrer, general geographic region, device type, and interaction events. We use this data to understand what's useful and to improve the site.

Some parts of the site rely on third-party providers that may set their own cookies when their functionality loads:

• Stripe — may set fraud-prevention cookies when you complete checkout.
• Google (Analytics, Calendar, Meet) — may set cookies when Analytics is loaded or when a Meet link is opened.
• Vercel — our hosting and analytics provider may set cookies to measure site performance.
• Any third-party content we embed in the future (for example, maps or video) may set its own cookies. When that happens, we'll update this policy.

We use cookies to:

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in to the client portal.
• Remember the campaign that led you to the site so we can credit conversions to the right source.
• Understand what content is useful and where the site can be improved.
• Detect fraud and prevent abuse.

You can control cookies at any time through your browser. Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies for specific sites or all sites. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the client portal.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, or use your browser's “Do Not Track” and privacy modes. We do not currently respond to “Global Privacy Control” signals but plan to review this as standards evolve.

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove third-party integrations. Substantive changes will be flagged on the site.
